Who We Are?
Remote Pharmacists helps community pharmacy owners build additional pharmacist capacity to support the delivery of the New Medicine Service (NMS).
We support pharmacies with the employment setup, operational processes and non-clinical administration needed to enable appropriately employed pharmacists to deliver NMS consultations remotely, where clinically appropriate.
Our model is designed to work alongside your existing pharmacy systems and workflows, helping reduce pressure on pharmacy teams while supporting eligible patients to access the NMS.

Remote Pharmacists provides agreed non-clinical administrative and operational support around the arrangement. The pharmacy owner retains responsibility for delivery of the NHS NMS in accordance with the service specification. For NMS delivered remotely from outside the pharmacy premises, the pharmacist providing the service must be directly employed by the pharmacy owner (or a company within same group) and have appropriate access to the pharmacy’s patient records. The pharmacy owner remains responsible for ensuring the service is delivered in accordance with the NHS NMS service specification.
